After moving to Georgia from Ohio and seeking a new physician to help me recover from my opiate addiction, I was lost. I initially did my normal Google Search and contacted the centers that were listed in top rank only to be let down. The first two places I called could not schedule me for an appointment until two weeks later. When I finally did get someone that could see me within the next five days, they wanted to charge me over $300 out of pocket for the visit because I did not have insurance. Of course, this did not include the medication. It was also an initial consultation fee of $100 that I had to pay even if the Doctor decided not to prescribe the medication.
Being stuck with no choice, I scheduled the appoint and began to gather up the money I needed. Fortunately, I woke up late on the day of the appointment. I immediately called to tell them I was running late and they said that they could not see me until the following week. Being desperate, I went back Google and discovered the actual Suboxone.com website. The list of Doctors in my area on their site was limited. I also saw most of the Doctors I had already contacted. I decided to just call the 800# and see if I could get someone to help me find a Doctor.
After going through about 10 Doctors, the young lady that was helping me over the phone finally gave me the number to Doctor Smith. I called him and he took me in on an emergency at a cost that was so reasonable, I had to write a review. So there you go.
